Description
Small and sleek, the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 wide-angle prime lens packs a punch with superior sharpness and clarity. The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 is the smallest and lightest prime lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras in the NIKKOR Z lineup.
Perfect for everyday snapshots.
Capture every scene to the fullest wherever you are with a wide 28mm angle of view, from landscapes and cityscapes to portraits and food photography.
Versatile video performance.
Record smooth, effortless movies with minimal shifts in the angle of view and seamless transitions between scenes and exposure levels, thanks to reduced focus breathing and stabilized exposure.
The lens’s quiet drive and highly precise multi-focus system, combined with the click-less control ring, provide convenient, near-silent operation so you can take your video to the next level.
Tiny but mighty.
Striking the perfect balance between compact size and light weight, the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 prime lens weighs approximately 155 g and measures 43 mm in length.
Get close.
Instantly capture stills and videos from a wider perspective with the 28mm wide angle of view, or get up close and personal with subjects thanks to the 0.19 m minimum focusing distance.
Capture creamy bokeh.
The lens’s incredibly shallow depth of field helps you achieve sharp, detailed images in the foreground and soft, beautiful bokeh in the background. The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 also enables faster shutter speeds without compromising exposure, delivering sharp, clear images.
Dust- and drip-resistant.
The NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 offers dust- and drip-resistant performance1, allowing creators to take this lens anywhere.
The multi-focus difference.
Experience the quiet, fast, and highly precise autofocus (AF) control of the lens’s multi-focus system. Equipped with two stepping motors (STM), it enables close-up photography while effectively minimizing aberrations around the edges of the frame.
Z mount performance.
The large diameter and short focal distance of the groundbreaking Z mount enable the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 to balance superior sharpness and clarity with a more portable, lightweight design.
