Overview

Scaled down from its world-renowned larger siblings, the E-Flite UMX Viper 531mm EDF Jet brings thrilling ultra-micro ducted fan performance to sports fields and local parks. Constructed from lightweight, composite-reinforced EPS foam, this factory-assembled jet combines aggressive fighter-jet aesthetics with the smooth, forgiving handling of a low-wing sport airplane. At its heart sits a high-performance 30mm electric ducted fan paired with a 4S-compatible brushless outrunner motor, generating incredible top speeds and unlimited vertical punch. Arriving factory-finished in the iconic Aircraft Studio Design trim scheme, it features functional LED navigation and landing lights that enhance orientation during high-speed passes.

Achieving precise control in varying air conditions is effortless thanks to integrated Spektrum AS3X technology, which works behind the scenes to smooth out wind turbulence. For added confidence, optional-use SAFE Select flight envelope protection provides automatic self-levelling along with pitch and bank angle limits at the flip of a switch. The lightweight airframe comes equipped with removable fixed landing gear and a steerable nosewheel for taxiing on paved runways, or can be removed entirely to utilise automatic Hand Launch Assist mode for grass field belly landings. Telemetry-enabled to deliver real-time battery voltage straight to compatible Spektrum transmitters, this Bind-N-Fly model offers an unbeatable jet experience. Just bind your 5+ channel Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 transmitter, install a 4S LiPo flight battery, and take to the skies.
