Overview

Once called the "Spitfire of World War One," the S.E.5a was one of the most important and recognisable British fighters of its time. The E-flite S.E.5a 900mm is a conveniently sized, modern replica that captures the spirit of this historic aircraft while delivering an unexpectedly thrilling flying experience. It's packed with scale details, including moulded ribs, radiator and exhaust features, machine guns, and a pilot figure. This Bind-N-Fly Basic version comes equipped with a Spektrum AR631+ receiver featuring exclusive, enhanced AS3X+ technology that provides an even more locked-in feel, smoothing out the effects of wind and turbulence. For added confidence, optional-use SAFE Select flight envelope protection makes this the easiest-to-fly S.E.5a model yet.

Beyond its scale looks, the S.E.5a is a surprisingly capable and versatile performer. Its power system, featuring a Spektrum brushless out-runner motor and a 45-amp Avian Smart Lite ESC, is compatible with both 3S and 4S LiPo batteries. Fly on 3S for smooth, scale-like flight and basic aerobatics, or use a 4S battery to unlock unlimited vertical performance and aggressive manoeuvres like snaps and "pop tops." The aircraft assembles quickly with a simple bolt-and-snap-together design, yet it's small enough to transport without disassembly. Precise and reliable control is guaranteed by the four factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos. It all adds up to deliver an unmatched WWI flying experience that's more fun and capable than any other S.E.5a model available.
