Description
Exceptional Telephoto Versatility
The FE 24-50mm F/2.8 G is a compact, fast-aperture standard zoom lens, designed to complement and accentuate the light weight and small form factor that have always been advantages of the Alpha range. Complementing the existing range of standard zooms for Sony FullFrame mirrorless cameras, this lens is
designed for photographers for whom a bright, constant maximum aperture is the top priority. For anyone who wants both convenience and the expressive power of a fast maximum aperture, this lens give unrivalled mobility, while still delivering on the quality, speed and durability that are hallmarks of the Sony G series.
Built For Beauty
Designed to take full advantage of its bright maximum aperture, the FE 24-50mm F/2.8 G has smooth and pleasing roll-off into the defocused areas of an image, enhanced by an 11-bladed aperture for consistently rounded bokeh across the frame.
Perfect with 7C
Combined with an A7CII or A7CR, the FE 24-50mm F/2.8 G still weighs in at under 1Kg, providing a bright, fast-focusing standard zoom and modern full-frame sensor in a total kit size that is completely unheard-of. This makes the lens ideal for for active photographers who need to carry their gear over the course of a day.
Great for Stills, Great for Video
Thanks to its light weight, the FE 24-50mm F/2.8 G is an ideal choice for gimbal work, and its rapid focusing linear motors can also provide smooth focus adjustments when the situations calls for it.
