Description
The FE 16-25mm F/2.8 G is a compact, fast aperture ultrawide zoom lens, designed to complement and accentuate the light weight and small form factor that have
always been advantages of the Alpha range. Complementing the existing range of standard zooms for Sony Full Frame mirrorless cameras, this lens is designed for photographers for whom
a bright, constant maximum aperture is the top priority. For anyone who wants both convenience and the expressive power of a fast maximum aperture, this lens give unrivalled mobility, while still
delivering on the quality, speed and durability that are hallmarks of the Sony G series.
Drama and Focus
Providing both a fast maximum aperture and wide angle perspective, the FE 16-25mm F/2.8 G provides a unique tool for content creators who want to achieve dramatic perspective with the instant “pop”
of a sharp subject and defocused background. In addition to its fast maximum aperture, the lens also provides a close minimum focusing distance, further enhancing the separation of foreground and
background.
Perfect with 7C
Combined with an A7CII or A7CR, the FE 16-25mm F/2.8 G still weighs in at under 1Kg, providing a bright, fast-focusing standard zoom and modern full-frame sensor in a total kit size that is completely
unheard-of. This makes the lens ideal for for active photographers who need to carry their gear over the course of a day.
Great for Stills, Great for Video
Thanks to its light weight and rapid focus system, the FE 24-50mm F/2.8 G is an ideal choice for gimbal work, and its rapid focusing linear motors can also provide smooth focus adjustments when the
situations calls for it. Focus breathing correction in late-model alpha cameras ensures stable framing even during extreme focus shifts.
