Key Features

High-performance photo and video
Join the evolution of high-performance photo and video. The EOS R6 Mark II features high-quality 24.2-megapixel images, fast shooting speeds of up to 40 frames per second (fps), advanced subject tracking, and video recording of up to 4K 60p (6K oversampled).

Equipped with features designed for movies
Enjoy ample flexibility when editing your videos with a wide selection of recording formats, including 4K 60p, Full HD 180p, and RAW movie when recording to an external storage device. Never miss a critical moment with up to 5 seconds of pre-recording before pressing the record button and extended continuous recording times of up to 6 hours.

Easy video conferencing and livestreaming
Host high-quality video conferences, livestreams, or live movie releases over the web by simply connecting the EOS R6 Mark II to a computer via USB. No additional drivers need to be downloaded.

Freeze the action
Capture decisive moments with high-speed, silent shooting at up to 40 fps using the electronic shutter. This is particularly useful in situations where you need to remain quiet and unnoticed, such as when photographing wildlife, theater performances, or sports. With pre-shooting mode, you’ll never miss a moment, as it can be activated up to 0.5 seconds before the shutter is released.

Steady handheld shots in low light
The EOS R6 Mark II features 5-axis In-Body Image Stabilization, which, when used with selected RF lenses, can provide up to 8 stops of image stabilization. Shoot handheld in dim light or at slower shutter speeds without the need for a tripod. With a maximum ISO of 102,400 for stills and 25,600 for movies, the EOS R6 Mark II offers exceptional low-light shooting performance with low noise and high image quality.

Advanced subject tracking
The EOS R6 Mark II supports tracking for a wide range of subjects, including people, animals (dogs, cats, birds, horses), and vehicles (cars, motorcycles, trains, airplanes). It automatically adapts to dynamically changing scenes and can track subjects across the entire frame. High-performance subject tracking gives you the freedom to focus on composition.

Panoramic Photo Mode
Capture more in your photos with panoramic mode. The panning direction can be set horizontally or vertically for tall buildings.

Dual Card Slots
Increase storage capacity or record simultaneously with dual SD card slots.

New HDR Mode [Moving Subject]
Capture tones with a wide dynamic range even in situations with a large difference in brightness and moving subjects.
