The superior optical design uses 11 elements, including an aspherical element & one high-refractive-index element, reducing spherical distortion & chromatic aberrations while increasing image clarity & sharpness, even in low-light conditions. The Ultra Multi Coating is designed to combat ghosting & flare for better contrast & colour fidelity, making this lens ideal for working with strong light, such as sunsets or backlit portraits.

The Samyang XP lens produces beautiful bokeh with a 9-blade circular diaphragm for an extremely smooth, appealing artistic flair. If you’re after controlled depth-of-field shots, the extremely fast maximum aperture of f/1.2 also performs exceptionally well in low-light environments. The manual-focus design allows for precise focus control, with a built-in AE chip ensuring your focus point is razor-sharp. This is all housed in an aluminium-alloy construction for lightweight comfort & durable, long-lasting performance.

As the first standard lens in the XP series developed by manual-focus lens powerhouse Samyang Optics, the 50mm F1.2 is a high-end lens for 50MP cameras, designed for high-resolution DSLR stills and up to 8K video shooters.

Key Features:

50mm premium manual-focus lens

Durable aluminium-alloy lens housing

Ultra Multi Coating for reduced ghosting

11 lens elements arranged in 8 groups

Bright, fast F1.2 aperture with a 9-blade diaphragm

One aspherical element & one high-refractive-index element

Built-in AE chip with EXIF relay

Designed for 8K video & 50-megapixel images

What's in the box:

1 x lens
